Practice Details

Sanford Children’s Hospital (SCH) is seeking BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalists.

  • SCH is a 146-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care center

  • SCH is part of The Sanford Health system and offers an extensive list of pediatric sub-specialty services to include cardiology, endocrinology, hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, surgery, pulmonary and many more

  • Opened in 2009, SCH is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state of SD. SCH provides family-centered care in a child friendly environment. Facilities include a 58-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Both units are staffed by board certified intensive care pediatricians

  • Bulk of the inpatient services are provided by the hospitalist service

  • Duties include admitting patients to the general medical units, providing consults to medical and surgical services, and teaching medical students and pediatric residents

Compensation Package
