Practice Details
Sanford Health has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.
Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultant practice in the region’s only Level II trauma Children's Hospital with 24/7 in-house coverage by pediatric hospitalist, NICU, and PICU teams
Team currently consists of 2 MD’s and 1 Nurse Practitioner
Consultative service only with 24/7 call coverage approximately 1 week at a time
Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU with additional flex beds if needed. Floor is shared with 24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU.
Collaborative relationships between primary and pediatric subspecialty services including Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Child Abuse Team, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, and Rheumatology
Support from the largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in more than 25 medical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery
Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million throughout ND, MN and parts of SD and MT
Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science teaching medical students, family medicine and pediatric residents
Sanford Health Fargo is a Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligible site.
